Lynn B. Barnett is a clinically licensed social worker in both Kansas and Missouri. She is most passionate about helping children feel connected to the healthy adults in their lives as connections leads to healthier mental health. Ms. Barnett is an attachment focused family therapist seeing children from birth to 18 for issues related to attachment, bonding, depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress or trauma related issues.
Ms. Barnett is also passionate about working with youth impacted by LGBTQ+ issues. As the parent of a transgender son, she has a special understanding of the issues parents struggle with when their child seeks to start their transition or is grappling with other gender or sexual orientation issues. Lynn has a special way with youth and can relate tot their struggles and works with the area gender clinics and community supports to help youth and their families access the services that they may be looking for.
